What we do…

The PIECES HOMECARE SERVICES mission is to provide our clients with the highest level of quality home care services achievable. We shall treat each of us clients with the respect and dignity they deserve, as though each of our care providers were caring for a member of his or her own family. PIECES HOMECARE SERVICES shall ensure that the clients are provided quality services that are appropriate to their needs.

It is the policy of PIECES HOMECARE SERVICES to provide Companion Sitter Respite and In-Home Aide services in accordance with the client’s plan of care, the North Carolina Regulation and Rules governing Home Care agencies, and within the licensed scope of services.

Companion Sitter Respite and In-Home Aide services will be provided in the client’s home by qualified caregivers. Services will be available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. The office will be located at 2040 South Park Drive, Suite F, Winterville NC 28590. The office will be staffed during the hours of Monday thru Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. In addition, the Service Supervisor will be available during any/all hours that in-home caregivers are providing care to clients in their homes.

Companion Sitter services will include:

  • Basic home management task
  • Shopping Meal Preparation
  • Transportation
  • Companion Services such as, playing games, cards, reading, watching television, and socialization
  • Medication Reminders other services that do not require hands on care non-hands-on emergency care for relief of family and or caregivers

In-Home Aide services will include…

 
  • Providing personal care services including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and eating or feeding.
  •  Assisting with ambulation, client transfers and protecting the client from falls.
  • Assisting with passive and active range of motion.
  • Applying TED’s, binders and prosthetic devices provided by PIECES HOMECARE SERVICES
  • Assisting client with self-monitoring of temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and weight.
  • Help with prescribed exercises that the client and in-home aides have been taught by a health care practitioner (i.e., physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist).
  • Assist client with self-administration of medications that are ordered by a physician or other person authorized by state law to prescribe 
  • Recording and reporting changes in the client’s condition, family situation, or needs to the Service Supervisor
